The Interreg 2 Seas Joint Secretariat is committed to user privacy. You can browse through most parts of this website without giving any information about yourself; in some cases, personal information is required in order to provide the services you request. The Interreg 2 Seas Joint Secretariat collects personal information when you register by filling out and submitting the online forms.
When you register you are asked for information such as your first name, last name and official e-mail address. The mentioned data are stored within the Interreg 2 Seas Database and may be shared among the Programmes' Joint Secretariat, territorial facilitators and other Programme bodies.
If you are in possession of a login, username and password, Interreg 2 Seas’ Communications System may collect information about your logins and the documents you retrieve from the system.
All data collected is used only for purposes of the Interreg 2 Seas Programme and only to the extent it is necessary to fulfill those purposes, and namely:
- to promote the funding opportunity to potential beneficiaries;
- to support beneficiaries in all phases of project lifecycle and;
- to promote the benefits of cross-border cooperation.
Unless you indicate us otherwise, the data collected is kept in our records for the life time of the Interreg 2 Seas Programme.
Interreg 2 Seas does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with third parties except to provide products or services you have requested, when we have your permission.
You can verify and rectify your personal data at any time by contacting contact@interreg2seas.eu and/or the specific address provided for a particular action, product or event. By contacting this address you can also delete your record and opt out of receiving future mailings.
Interreg 2 Seas has taken all safety measures required to protect your personal data. Access to the Interreg 2 Seas database is limited to operatives who have committed themselves to confidentiality.
For EEP users (project applications only): The JS collects the data submitted by project applicants in order to assess project applications against Programme requirements.
- Purposes: Assessment of project proposals and selection of projects to be co-financed by the Programme.
- Recipients: Programme bodies (Programme Authorities, Member states, Technical Assistance and Monitoring Committee)
- Data retention period: as laid down in the common provisions on the European Regional Development Fund and implementing acts.
- Legal basis: project application and legal obligation.
